Feed Your Face: The One-Year Anniversary Challenge

By Dr Jessica Wu

A year ago this week, I landed in New York City in the middle of an ice storm. My book -- Feed Your Face: Younger, Smoother Skin and a Beautiful Body in 28 Delicious Days, -- had just been published, and I was scheduled to appear on Good Morning America at 7 the next morning. The police were warning everyone to stay off the streets because of falling ice, but there was no way I was going to miss that appearance! Luckily, I made it to the studio without being speared by an icicle, and was thrilled to sit down with Robin Roberts to talk about what to eat for good skin. Since then, I have been humbled and inspired by the messages so many of you sent me about your struggles with your skin -- and how your complexion improved after you followed my Feed Your Face plan. I’ve also been touched by those of you who've told me that your health has improved, or that you’ve influenced your family and friends to eat better.

For those of you who are new to this newsletter, and are less familiar with my book, Feed Your Face is a guide to eating well for a lifetime of healthy, beautiful skin. It’s based on the latest medical research, as well as on my own experience treating thousands of patients over the past 15 years (it features before-and-after photos as well). In addition to a delicious 28-day meal plan, it’s packed with yummy, face-friendly snack ideas, a Restaurant Guide that recommends what to order at popular establishments, and real-life stories, including those of my celebrity friends, like Katherine Heigl, Kimora Lee Simmons, and Maria Bello. Check out the video trailer here.

If you’ve been struggling with your skin, or simply want a better complexion, I challenge you to make a change for the better. Get Feed Your Face here and follow me on Twitter (twitter.com/drjessicawu). I’ll be posting success stories and giving away free stuff all month!
